Her passion is to travel, and explore new places, cultures and traditions. She has travelled from the mountains and jungles of North Eastern India through the Deccan plateau to the salt pans of Gujrat and from the snow-capped mountains of North to the backwaters of south India. This travelling to far-flung places has helped to give her a different perspective of any challenge that she is posed with. Barkha has also been working as a freelance Graphic designer, Visualiser and design consultant for the past few years with companies like GVK, PRIDE OF INDIA, FABCAFE, CHOCOLATE TREE, OAKWOOD HOTELS, Changing Sky…After being a graphic designer for the past 14 years, she has recently entered the world of UX and UI and has done some basic courses with HFI. Barkha is a very curious designer and keeps herself updated on technology and design trends, She believes that the most important task of a designer is to connect with the user on an emotional level to understand their problems....and think from a designer’s point of view to use these emotions to transfer into reality.
She believes that every situation presents an opportunity to learn something new. As a creative artist, these opportunities and lateral thinking help to bring out the most unorthodox solutions.
